#HarryPotterBreakOUT!

Hello families!!

The Y4 Cal·lipoStudents have been super BRAVE to beat a scary Dementor with their magic spells!!
They had to go through 6 different challenges to work with coding, Maths and English until they got a secret code to open a box where they could find the spell to beat the Dementor... and we managed!!!! =)

Here's the video we created to get started with the BreakOUT and a couple of pictures of us having fun!!!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear... what do you see??

Hiya!!
Here we are with the five-year-olds, who wanted to show you how well they can explain the story they have been working with for the last month, it's called Brown Bear, Brown Bear... What do you see?"
If you would like to watch how the Birds' class' students explain the story, stay, and if you'd like to watch the Frogs' class' students, move on the video until minute 9:50! ;)
After that, we have been experimenting with magnets, why they stick to a specific surface and not on another one... And we have seen that some surfaces seem metal, but they're fake!! They're plastic! :S
It was fantastic, and now we're starting a beautiful book called The Littlest Bear... :)

Little Hazelnut... the first English book with our 3-year olds!

Hi there!
We're back here to show you the first picture book used with the littlest students in the school, the 3-year olds in the Rabbits' class!!
It's a beautiful book that talks about winter, and it has an awesome moral: that no matter what, good times will come... It just needs time.
It's the story about a little hazelnut that was covered with a blanket of snow during a cold cold Winter, but in the end, Spring always come back with its most fantastic presents... The flowers, the trees and the beautiful nut trees.

Musicals' project, here we go!

Hiya!
We're back in business with our fifth grade students.. They were asked at the beginning of the School Year what they'd like to use as a conductor thread for the Arts & Crafts's subject... And they decided the topic: MUSICALS!
First, we have spent a whole term deciding what kind of musical? If we should create one, or use one already done, and in the end, last Wednesday, they all agreed to use the musical called GREASE!
I couldn't believe it.
Is it possible that they choose one of the teachers favourites 🎬?
It is... and I PROMISE PROMISE PROMISE that I haven't said a thing about that.
So... here you have a couple of pictures of the whiteboard we used when deciding it and be ready for that... This Wednesday are the AUDITIONS!!! 👏👏👏

Brown Bear Brown Bear...

Hello everybody!!
We're here with the storybook we're in with the five-year-old students.. BROWN BEAR!
It's a fantastic book and they are enjoying it a lot!

Learning the parts of the body through... MY NOSE!

Hiya!!

It's been such a long time since we haven't seen each other here... We're sorry, but the most important thing... we're back!!! =)

Here we're showing you some of the pictures of the Rabbits and Fishes' class learning the parts of the body through the storybook called My Nose! It's a very nice story about a snowman who was being built, but he couldn't find a suitable nose... I love that story, and the three-year-olds enjoyed it a lot too!

Here we are with the four-year-old students and the story named Butterfly Butterfly... A book of colours!!! :)

Playing HeadBanz with Dear Zoo

The 5-year-old students have been playing some games related to the story named Dear Zoo.. and one of those games was the HeadBanz!!
It was fantastic, and they loved it!!

They had to mime the animals so that the student wearing the HeadBanz would guess the animal that it was... in silence!! 

That was the most difficult part! ;)
