Hiya!!
This week, all of the students have been looking for Easter eggs!! It's been awesome, they've had loads of fun, and the eldest ones (Years 5 and 6) have been going along with the three and five year-olds, and they loved it!
It was amazing how they looked after them, placed them before themselves when coming to find and Easter egg, and the most important part of all, they created a memory that will last forever...

This week, we were celebrating a nice day... The LOVE day. There are loads of types of love, and the most important one is the one that starts with friendship.
All of our students (and all of us, indeed) have a favourite person but, at the same time, they all share those feelings with their classmates.
What we decided was to use a Mail Box found at a Tiger store to share our love words with our classmates.
First, we created a kind of "secret santa", where everyones' names were on a box and we took one of the papers out, and that was our "secret valentine". Then, we had to think of something nice to give to that person. We tried (really, really, really hard) to create a Heart-shaped message, as the following one:
But, after spending 40 minutes trying, we decided to move on and use a rectangle to write our message.
And in the end... the day we gave them in... Well, look at their faces, they say everything!
They all were surprised of how well their classmates knew them (favourite colour, what they liked doing...).
It's been an amazing experience, and we hope that they will never forget their feelings and how easy is to make people happy with almost none effort.

We're back with some pictures from Carnival!! =)
We brought a game from Elena's stay in England called: What a performance!
It's a funny and entertaining game that we can use with the students from Year 1 to the ones in Year 6... and they all have fun!!!
For the littlest ones, I read the cards for them, and the oldest ones can read them by themselves. They have to sing, act, mime, do different things, and it's amazing how they learn from every little game we do in class.

As you already know, this school year we do arts and crafts in English in 6th grade. This time, we had to decorate the hall of the school with autumn props, and we decided to use also Halloween things, such as broomsticks, pumpkins... And also sentences in catalan, so that everyone could see that we celebrate everything: Castanyada and also Halloween!
