Brown Bear, Brown Bear... what do you see??

Hiya!!
Here we are with the five-year-olds, who wanted to show you how well they can explain the story they have been working with for the last month, it's called Brown Bear, Brown Bear... What do you see?"
If you would like to watch how the Birds' class' students explain the story, stay, and if you'd like to watch the Frogs' class' students, move on the video until minute 9:50! ;)
After that, we have been experimenting with magnets, why they stick to a specific surface and not on another one... And we have seen that some surfaces seem metal, but they're fake!! They're plastic! :S
It was fantastic, and now we're starting a beautiful book called The Littlest Bear... :)

Thanks for watching!
Lots of love!

We have a brand new letter board!! :)

Hello!!
Thanks to the Ajuts Pont from the University Rovira i Virgili, we have acquired a new letter board to help us with our English classes (and with the filming project, of course!!)!
We're so happy!!
Thanks a lot!!! 👏👏👏

Teacher Training mode ON!

Hello!

Today we're here to show you a different thing...
Have you ever asked yourself: What do the teachers do when they're at school, but no children are there?
I love when the students ask me (once a week or more! ;D): Do you live at the school? Do you sleep in here? Where's the kitchen?!
It's so so funny!
But we weren't writing you because of this, it's because we wanted to show you what we, teachers, are up to when we're at the school... We're doing a training course on how to create films and short films in the English Classroom!!
And what it's best is that most of the teachers are not English teachers, they're not even English users... But together, we're crating awesome lessons and activities for our students!
Neverminding if you're a Pre-Primary teacher, or if you're teaching Music or PE, when we work as a team, THE CAL·LIPOTEAM creates MAGICAL things!

Thank you so so much.

And... as we were saying, THE CAL·LIPOTEAM together makes MAGICAL things... We're going to show you the Halloween session of our Teacher Training Course.
Lights... Camera... Action!

Lots of Love!

Little Hazelnut... the first English book with our 3-year olds!

Hi there!
We're back here to show you the first picture book used with the littlest students in the school, the 3-year olds in the Rabbits' class!!
It's a beautiful book that talks about winter, and it has an awesome moral: that no matter what, good times will come... It just needs time.
It's the story about a little hazelnut that was covered with a blanket of snow during a cold cold Winter, but in the end, Spring always come back with its most fantastic presents... The flowers, the trees and the beautiful nut trees.
As always, if you feel like it, please, comment!! 🙋

Sharing love words with everyone! :)

Hi there!
This week, we were celebrating a nice day... The LOVE day. There are loads of types of love, and the most important one is the one that starts with friendship.
All of our students (and all of us, indeed) have a favourite person but, at the same time, they all share those feelings with their classmates.
What we decided was to use a Mail Box found at a Tiger store to share our love words with our classmates.
First, we created a kind of "secret santa", where everyones' names were on a box and we took one of the papers out, and that was our "secret valentine". Then, we had to think of something nice to give to that person. We tried (really, really, really hard) to create a Heart-shaped message, as the following one:

But, after spending 40 minutes trying, we decided to move on and use a rectangle to write our message.

And in the end... the day we gave them in... Well, look at their faces, they say everything!

They all were surprised of how well their classmates knew them (favourite colour, what they liked doing...).

It's been an amazing experience, and we hope that they will never forget their feelings and how easy is to make people happy with almost none effort.

Happy Valentine's Day! :)

What time is it?
