Butterfly Butterfly, a book of colors

And the 4-year-old students have finished with the storybook called: Butterfly Butterfly, a book of colours!!

It's a funny story where we were looking for the butterfly and we came across diferent insects of different colours (a green beetle, a pink worm...)... And it was amazing!! We've taken profit of it and worked with shapes, colours, the song "Rock, scissors, paper" of Super Simple Songs.

And they kept playing Rock scissors paper even at the playground, when they were going home...

Awesome!!

... HALLOWEEN'15!!!!

And we did masks, pumpkins and also a SPIDER PET!!
It was so funny to walk them through the corridors... We took the idea from the book: "Aaaargh Spider!" By Lydia Monks.

How are you feeling?

Hi there!

This week 5th and 6th grades have been working with their feelings through... EMOTICONS and HASHTAGS!!

First they started thinking how they felt, and then we found an emoticon suitable for that feeling... In two days' time we'll have our wall of the feelings.  And, of course, we'll show it to you!! :)

BTW, how are you feeling??? You can answer that at the comments section!!

Starting with the storytelling project

If you happen to hear that your 4-year-old children call me CATERPILLAR... Now you'll see why! :)

We've started with the Storytelling project, and the 4-year-old students are learning through "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", and the 5 year olds are working with another lovely story "Dear Zoo".

Here you can watch the videos of the stories so that you can also tell them... They'll enjoy it!

Welcome to a new school year!!!

Hello!

We're back to business again with the blog, and this year we've got a special surprise... We've been given the project of the Ajuts Pont AGAIN!!!! :)

That means that the students at P-4 and P-5 will take part of the storytelling project. You can find all of the information from last year in here: Once Upon a Time...

The results have shown us that the students are improving their English through the most natural way of learning a language... Storytelling, and songs and games related to it. Amazing!

What time is it?
