Sunflowers... here we come again!!!

Hello families!!
We are a green school and also plant lovers so, because of that, last year we started a project called: "Sunflower Diary".
It consists on creating a diary along with planting sunflowers, so that we can measure the leaves, see how fast they grow, check if they change their colours and also test if they get taller than the students!
We have started this week and it will last until the last day of school, so we need to take care of them daily: water them with the sprinkling can, say nice words to them and sing them songs... They love it! =)
We'll keep you posted with the pictures as they grow and... lots of seeds of happiness to you all!

Those are the objects that we've been using to measure the sunflowers! Now we need a tape mesure of 3 metres!!!

Sunflowers, here we come!

It's been a couple of days since we haven't written anything here. We're here today to explain you what the third graders are up to these days!
They're planting sunflowers!!
First, we watched some videos about how they grow, and then, we started planting them.
We had the special collaboration of Jorge, the janitor, and also Manolo, the former janitor!
It was awesome to have them both teaching us how to manage with the seeds, the trowel and all of the things we need to plant the sunflowers!
